1948 – Year of women’s suffrage in Belgium. In this oil work, I embraced cubism to fragment and reinvent reality. The golden tones and the duality of shapes speak of contrasts and harmony in the complexity of the evolution of the female condition in the world. It is a visual symphony that invites us to remember in order to become better. A window to the past and hope for the future.
